Healthy Homemade Cinnamon Toast Crunch Popcorn

This homemade cinnamon toast crunch popcorn has that epic cinnadust flavor from the cinnamon toast crunch breakfast cereal but with healthier ingredients. It's also gluten free, refined sugar free, and vegan, so the entire family can have some!

Ingredients

  • 1/2 C popcorn kernels*
  • 1/3 C stevia
  • 1/2 Tbsp cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • Cooking spray

Instructions

  1. Add 1/4 cup of your popcorn kernels to your popcorn popper** and cook until all kernels have popped. Repeat with the remaining kernels in 1/4 cup batches.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the stevia, cinnamon, and salt until well combined.
  3. Add all the popped popcorn to the largest mixing bowl you have, then spray the top layer with cooking spray. Sprinkle some of the cinnamon sugar mixture on top, then toss well to combine. Repeat 3 or 4 more times until all the "cinnadust" is gone and the popcorn is well coated.

Notes

*You can also use 3 individual bags of packaged popcorn, but I highly recommend following the recipe as written.

**See blog post for directions for using the air fryer.
