The Best Healthy Chocolate Chip Banana Bread

Made with NO sugar, NO butter, and NO oil, this chocolate chip banana bread is so moist with tons of dark chocolate chips. All you need is wheat flour, bananas, greek yogurt, Stevia, and a few pantry staples for the best healthy banana bread recipe!

Ingredients

  • 3 overripe bananas, mashed
  • 1/2 C nonfat vanilla greek yogurt
  • 1/3 C Stevia
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 Tbsp vanilla
  • 1 Tbsp milk (I use almond)
  • 1 C whole wheat flour, spooned and leveled
  • 1/2 C all purpose flour, spooned and leveled
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/2 C sugar free chocolate chips*

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350° F and line an 8x6 bread pan with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the bananas, greek yogurt, Stevia, egg, vanilla, and milk until well combined.
  3. Fold in wheat flour, all purpose flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt until a few streaks of flour remain.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips until JUST combined. Do not over mix!
  5. Pour batter into prepared bread pan and bake for 40-45 minutes. I usually do 43 minutes.
  6. Let the bread cool in the pan for 15 minutes, transfer to a cooling rack before slicing.

Notes

*Any chocolate chips will work.
